Me, too, for sure. I've seen all of the videos multiple times, and I love Gondry.
Spike Jonze is a mixed bag -- some of his videos are very good, but some suck.
Chris Cunningham is too creepy for my taste. Way too creepy.
Gondry has awesome ideas and awesome videos... plus, the songs he does are good. (I've seen a lot of good videos with sucky songs.)

Gondry.

Cunningham is a genius, plain and simple. That said, I really like some of Spike Jonze's music videos too...

Cunninghams work will stand the test of time. Michels gondry will become antiques and Jonzes will be forgotten altogether because his videos are much to cultural.

Many of Jonzes videos are just good because we all know that it's Christopher walken dancing or how goofy the beastie boys are and everyone will forget about Happy days. His videos are in a sense, too clever... and they take a huge stab at the modern media.

There's also the problme that Spike and Michel don't really have "distinctive" style, they both keep changing based on their content. While Cunningham has a very distinctive style and he keeps revisting certain themes. And anyone who watches Come to Daddy in 100 to 200 to 300 years will think it's just as different then as it is now. Partly because Cunninghams vids don't have a real setting they are wicked ambiguous and very cold and desolate. there's no "real" or modern settings so they can't become dated really. Like mood peices. He will never be forgotten and will always have a cultish following.

Plus Jonze and gondry have gone on to be very good film directors and people almost always forget were one comes from. While Cunningham will always be a music video director(he wants to make films, but it will never happen... just trust me on that one)

Note: I think becaue Jonze and Michel don't have very distinctive styles this has made them into very good film directors who also have a great grasp on the tech work and special effects.
