Nope!

There were moments which lagged, I thought. To that end, this film was not perfect. However, what this film did well, I thought, it did really well, and to that end I think this was a very good picture.

Definitely agree, it was boring. I was just wanting to get through the movie. Couldn't stand the kid and not much interesting happened.

Boring as hell. Basically ADHD brat of kid, movie of his imagination.

It was uninteresting, which is really disappointing considering the talent behind the camera.

I just finished watching it now and... I realized I took a nap and I've lost 20 minutes of the film. But I'll watch again tomorrow.

Yes, this is the fundamental flaw of the film. And I had high hopes for this, given that Jonze's previous three films all landed in my top 65 (including the #1 overall spot, for Her). This one ended up at 833 out of 1122, far lower than I ever would have guessed (though the Netflix algorithm, to its credit, saw this coming).

There were some critics I respect, like David Edelstein, who liked this a lot, too. I fail to comprehend how they fought off the boredom.
