I cant understand the words to the bluegrass music

There is music on this game. I cant understand what they are singing but I just make up my own words. They sold their house to feed their dog. They wouldnt do it for a pig, horse or a hog but they did for their dog. Now theyll be sleeping in the wind, rain and cold until they are old. They wont complain because they really love their dog.
