What are the Pleasants up to?

I think I made a thread like this a long time ago, but I'm sure a lot has happened since then (and since that thread was so old that it no longer exists).

So what is the Pleasant family up to? Here's mine:

-Daniel & Mary-Sue break up after a long, unfaithful marriage.
-Daniel moves Downtown into his own home, and decides it's time to be faithful. He cuts all ties with all of his lovers, except for Kaylynn.
-Daniel and Kaylynn move in together. They later get married, and have a son named Marshall (after Daniel's maternal grandfather I believe).
Back to the Pleasant home.
-Lilith and Angela grow into adults.
-Lilith moves in with her true love, Dirk Dreamer (Darren moved in with Cassandra)
-They had two children. A son, Darius, and a daughter, Hannah (who look just like their daddy).
-Angela and Dustin get a new home together.
-Dustin adopts his two little brothers, Beau and Robby, who were taken away from their mother Brandi after Beau received a failing grade at school.
-Brandi moves in to reconnect with her boys, then moves out and takes them with her.
-Dustin and Angela decide they are ready to have their own family. After several attempts, they finally become pregnant.
-During Angela's pregnancy, they wed in their living room.
-Angela soon gives birth to a son, Miles.
-While Miles is still a baby, Angie and Dustin decide to have another baby.
-When Miles grows into a toddler, Angela gives birth to a daughter, named Audrey.

And that's all the Pleasant family has to offer right now.

Nice!!

This is mine:

Daniel and Mary Sue still live together despite her realization of his womanizing (she secretly murdered Kaylynn Langerak); Mary Sue has quit her job in business and thanks to FreeTime pursues a career in law while working on pottery. Daniel is still a coach.

Angela and Lilith went to Sim State University, but Dustin never went and decided on the criminal career. When Angela graduated she didn't feel anything for Dustin any longer even though he still holds the torch for her.

Both of the Pleasant sisters graduated with honors; Angela is married to Jimmy Phoenix and is the Hand of Poseidon (he is an Ecological Guru; they both have a son named Waverly, LOL). Lilith is an art forger and lives in a filthy house in Downtown SimCity...but she's got a thing for Dustin Broke that might lead to something.

They're one of my favorite families (the Burbs being the other, and even related as well) to play. :)

Yes, it LOOKS like it, but it's not really. They're just accessories stuck to hands. Now back to what this thread is about: The Pleasant Family!

What happen with mine:

After several attempts to make their marriage work, Daniel and Mary Sue call it quiets. Both move out, leaving Kathryn with the girls,

However Daniel manages to woo back Mary-sue and they wed in a different home

One night Kathryn invites Daniel back in, their little date is stop when Angela (gasp!) Not Lillith runs away
When Angela is returned, Daniel realizes the girls need their family first. With that, He and Mary-Sue move back in, Kathryn out and in with Don

However Daniel soon falls out of love with Mary-sue, he breaks up with her in front of her parents

Mary-sue moves out, and falls in love with a townie(not sure who, but it's the rich male one). They marry, and raise both girls and her niece Lucy. They live in Pleasentview now, with their baby daughter Coral Ann or something like that

Angela and Lilith play nice and went to Pleasentstate University together, both majoring in drama

They are both married, Lillith to her high school/collage sweetheart Dirk Dreamer, and Angela to one of her professors. All four(soon to be five, Angle's preggers but doesn't know it yet) live in a yellow house right next to Mr. and Mrs. Dreamer (darren married Cassendra twice, long story for a different time) and his little step-sister Bella something....

oh and Daniel is single, while living with Kathryn who is married to don but seperated and one of the baby twin boys she had with don

Daniel started cheating with a woman I made named Vivienne. Lilith, while still a teen, got pregnant with Dirk's baby. They got married in her 2nd trimester (while still teens) and Angela and Darren quickly got married as well. They all still live in the same house. Lilith and Angela found out about Vivienne, and started spending way more time with their mother, and soon were best friends wil her. When Daniel asked Vivienne to move in, Mary-Sue knew something was up. She caught Daniel cheating and slapped him and whatnot. He broke up with her, and she spent so long crying that she wouldn't eat and eventually died of hunger. Daniel immediately married Vivienne. Lilith's baby miscarried, and her marriage is now on the rocks without the baby to keep them close.

I don't play the Pleasants often.

Mary Sue and Daniel had another baby. A boy named Issac.
I sent Angela and Lilith to college.
I made Daniel the sperm donor to a lesbian couple. They had a boy named Graeme.

It's not the end, that I fear with each breath.

After Mary Sue suspected something was up with Daniel, she got a makeover. It impressed him some, but days later she caught him cheating. Now Mary lives in the regular house with Angela and Lilith, Daniel moved out and is engaged to Kaylynn. Right now she's pregnant. I plan to give them both a nicer house one Daniel brings home some money, rihgt now they live in a small crappy house.

Lilith has quite a life. I dyed her hair black, and gave her a lot of makeup t look different from her sister. She has already had sex with two people, one an adult, and one Dirk Dreamer. After Dirk rejected Lilith's engagement realizing he was too young for what he was doing, she broke up with him and decided to rebel and have some fun. Angela cheered him up afer that, so now their friends. (I plan for them to get married) and Lilith is aving an affair with Angelas boyfriend, without her knowing. Lilith tries to get with anyone she sees, and goes to clubs every night. Basically I turned her into a slut. I plan to get her pregnant 3 times, once by Angelas boyfriend, once by a random adult man, and once by another teenager. After Angela finds out she's pregnant with HER boyfriend, all hell will break loose and Mary will punish her. After she's pregnant a second time, Mary and Angela will disown her and Lilith will move into her own crappy small house (which is a dump that she won't take care of). (All this will happen while she's still a teenager) then while she's not living with her mom and sis, she'll get pregnant a third time. So she'll have three babies. Since she'll be depressed she won't take care of the third one, so social services will take her child away. (All this will happen while Angela gets with Lilith's old boyfriend, Dirk. Angela and Dirk then go to college together, to have a succesful life) Then near the end of Lilith's teen years, after the social services took away her third kid, Lilith will realize what she has been doing is wrong, and that she needs to clean up her life and go down the right path. So she gets a job, brings home some money, to buy a bigger house (Lilith will turn into an adult during this process) to start her own at home makeover/salon business, since she's always been interested in that stuff. When she finally gets a house big enough for it, she buys all the stuff needed, hires employees and finally start her own business. She hires a babysitter for her two kids while she's working. She makes alot of money from her business and eventually bcomes known as Pleasentviews best, richest stylist. She dyes her hair back to her original color, and goes back to her natural look. She apologizes to her mom and sister for what she did during her teen years. Her kids grow up to be normal, average people. (Nobody knows what happened to her third kid that the social services took away.)

After going to college, Angela moves back into her mom's house for a while, then becomes engaged to Dirk. She moves into her own house with Dirk and has two kids. However, she talks on the phone with her mom every day, and occasionally talks to her dad, who's already built a new life with Kaylynn. (who's turned from a slutty maid to a loving mom)

Eventually, Mary and Daniel become friends again, and Mary forgives Kaylynn, too.

Interesting life for Lilith there, squigglysmurfette!

I really gotta start letting myself go in my game. It's becoming boring to have every family be a 100% happy couple with two-five children. Hmmm... *Finds a family that I don't like very much to go into a cheating fiasco*

ETA: Yes, I meant Lilith.

So I played Mary-Sue for a bit last night. I had forgotten that I made her get pregnant before Daniel left. So she was pregnant with Daniel's baby. She called up the matchmaker and gave her $5,000 to give her the perfect man. Well, out came Ash Gregory. After they fell in love and such, I realized he wasn't just a guy in funny clothes - he was Mr. Big. That was really... really.. annoying. So anyway, they get married (frankly because I was sick of the last name Pleasant - so now she's Mary-Sue Gregory), and Mary-Sue gives birth to a little boy (I forget his name). I was sick of Mr. Big primping all the time, and not able to wear the clothes I picked out for him, so I made Mary kick him out.

Next up for Mary-Sue.. calling the matchmaker back up.. and NOT getting a Mr. Big. I'd like her to have a daughter as well.

Lol, you mean Lilith? (Angela is the one that will have the normal happy, life, Lilith will get pregnant as a teen and what not) and yeah that sounds boring. Download inteenimator, you can get teens pregnant... that's how I got Lilith to have sex, get engaged, lol.

Daniel cheated with Kaylynn several times, till he got Mary-Sue pregnant again. They had a son named Danny and they both worked really hard to reach the top of the respective careers (Daniel is a professional party guest and Mary-Sue is a criminal mastermind). Mary-Sue is pregnant again.

Angela did exceptionally well in high school and reached the top of the law career for teens. She went out with a couple of boys, but hooked up with a girl and realized she was a lesbian. She got lots of great scholarships to college, where she just moved to.

Lillith barely made it through high school, but finally did and even made it to college too. She was dating Dustin Broke, but ended that when she went to college. Now that he's in college too, things may pick up again.

I would've made it more interesting with teen pregnancies and stuff, but the inteenimator version for Apartment Life isn't out yet, that I know of. I started over when I installed AL (long story).

Okay, so here's the latest with Mary-Sue (I haven't played anyone else since my last update):

-Mary-Sue marries Mr. Big (Ash Gregory) while she's pregnant with Daniel's baby.
-She gives birth to a son, Silas, who unfortunately looks like his father but with dark features.
-Ash invites one of his friends over, and kisses her infront of Mary-Sue.
-Mary-Sue breaks up with Ash and kicks him out.
-She calls up the matchmaker the next day, pays $5000 to get a perfect match. She ended up getting Ben Rodbell, a cute adult that I have plans for later. So she immediately ended the date. Ben sent a hate note in the mail a few days later.
-Mary-Sue gives up on the dating scene, until she starts getting to know her friend Benjamin Long. The two get to know each other and fall in love.
-They get pregnant.
-Mary-Sue gives birth to a daughter, Joy Anna, who also unfortunately looks like her father but with dark features (I really wanted an Asian looking daughter).

Mary-Sue and Benjamin are still an item, but they are not married, nor will he be moving in any time soon.

I just recently restarted the whole game. Although I own all the expansion packs except apartment life, I'm currently only playing with the core game, Bon Voyage, and Free Time. I play each of the premade families for a game-week at a time, then switch to the next family, and repeat it all again (plus one that I based on myself, although I've since married into the Brokes).

Daniel and Mary-Sue actually were faithful to each other...but this had a surprising effect. When Daniel and Mary-Sue tried for a baby, the maid caught them and blew up...which is when Mary-Sue realized that there had been a time when Daniel and the maid had a thing for each other. They began fighting all the time, sometimes physically.

Likewise, Angela and Lillith were always at each other's throats as well, to the point that even Angela was starting to slip up at school.

Once the girls became adults, Daniel and Mary-Sue decided to get a divorce. Lillith was planning to move out anyway, but became worried about how her dad would fend for himself (he had lost his job as an assistant coach over an unfortunate piano incident). So when Lillith moved out, she took Daniel with her.

They moved in together, and slowly became friends (though it was hard at first.) Lillith became a private investigator, and was so successful at her job that she quickly became middle-management at the Sim-CIA equivalent. Unfortunately, her strange and secretive job has left her with little time for romance. Daniel, on the other hand, has tried a few romances...but none have gone beyond a peck or kiss up the arm. He remained unemployed but decided to write his memoirs, entitled "The Pleasant Unpleasant". Though he did finish the novel (my first finished novel in four years of playing!), it was a flop. He was writing a sequel when he finally succumbed to old age while enroute to the shower. Lillith was right next to him for their final moments together. Now that he's died, maybe she'll have time for true love?

I haven't gone back to play Angela and Mary-Sue yet (that's next), but Mary-Sue...despite being an elder...is an athlete starter. Angela is a mascot for her mom's team, but is hoping for a career in law enforcement.

Since I'm here anyway and I started this thread to begin with, I'll post my update:

I recently went back to the Dreamers after ignoring them for weeks. I spent a good 45 minutes remodeling their home, and I decided I wanted one more son to complete the family. Not to my surprise, Lilith had twins. After leaving-without-saving a good 7 or 8 times, I finally got two babies who had matching skintones to their brother and sister. So now Lilith and Dirk have four children; Big brother Darius, sister Hannah, and boy/girl twins, David Cody (who looks just like his brother and sister - like his father) and Mackenzie (who's the oddball and looks like Lilith).

Darius is now in mid-childhood. Hannah just recently became a child and David Cody and Mackenzie just became toddlers. Lilith is a stay-at-home-mom who plans on going into Medicine when the twins begin school. Dirk is in Law, and Darius and Hannah are straight-A students.

Mary Sue was fired from her job only to come home and find Daniel cheating on her, this caused her to temporarily go insane.

When she was finally back to normal, she promptly broke up with Daniel. Her thought on that was, "I'm so glad I finally ditched that loser!"

She then got into a fight with Kaylynn, which she lost. Her social needs plummeted, and she received a visit from the social bunny. She has since found love with the wealthy Malcolm Landgraab IV (Way to bounce back there, Mary Sue!).

Daniel, with nowhere else to go, moved in with his sister, Jennifer Burb, and her husband and daughter. He still sees Kaylynn.

Angela and Lilith ended up patching things, and went off to college. They live in the same dorm as Dirk and Dustin, who they still date.

Oh my god, I made the Pleasant Family's life sooo complicated/ hellish.
Lillith and Angela had a fight.
Lillith ran away.
Daniel married the maid.
The maid moved in with them.Mary- Sue slept in a different bed. Daniel and the maid slept in the same bed.
The maid and Daniel had a baby.
Mary- Sue saw the maid and Daniel kissing. She broke up with him, and he moved out by himself, leaving his mistress to live with his family (haha).
I re- decorated Lillith's room & turned it into a room for the baby, thinking she wasn't coming back (it had been ages)
Mary- Sue grew up into an elder.
Lillith came back. After a few days, it was time for her and Angela to grow up. Angela grew up, but Lillith didn't (glitch)...
Lillith finally grew into an adult, but now I can't right- click her (another glitch).
Angela, now an adult, moved out. She married one of the sims I had made, but they got divorced, so she moved out of that house also, and now lives alone.
The maid moved out, leaving Mary- Sue and Lillith to take care of the baby, which is now a child (haha that maid is a terrible mother/ person).

*When the maid moved out, she married Don. She then saw him kissing the brunette Caliente girl, and they got a divorce. THEN he married Cassandra, who saw him kissing the brunette Caliente girl (haha what a homewrecker), so now he's married to the brunette Caliente girl. Cassandra is married to the Dreamer man (sorry, I've forgotten some names here).

AND! Weirdly, the game still recognises Angela as a teenager. I was playing the Broke family, and Dustin brings her home from school with him, and sneaks out with her all the time! Weird glitch! Dustin is dead now, though... So I will have to check if the game is still regarding Angela as a teenager, even though she's an adult.
