Obese People

Obese people contribute more to this nation's health care problems than any other demographic. Whether it be hypertension, CHF, diabetes, or cancer, obesity costs the health care system billions and billions annually. Yet, I saw an interview with Michael Moore this week on the Colbert Report and he's just as fat as he's ever been.

Didn't Michael promise to lose weight after Sicko? I guess MM doesn't have a problem being a hypocrite.

Plus he continues to repeatedly wear shorts with his manmeat oozing out of every nook and cranny, He looks like a fatter, unfunny real life version of Peter Griffin from family guy with balls for a chin, and that stubble of his to hide it just makes it worse.

I just cant take anything seriously from a person who is so unkempt and clearly has no will power. He clearly is a hypocrite when he disses the health care system and yet is morbidly obese, disses the capitalist system yet is worth somewhere in the region of 30-50 million dollars etc etc.

Ugh.

it is my idea americans are obese because they are so stressed out. and fast food is so cheap and is easily available that thats all they eat.

if americans were less in debt and not so stressed out about health insurance companies then maybe they would have more time to take care of themselves.

As for Moore, yes, he should definitely loose weight. he has no excuse not to. he is well off financially, he has the time to hire a trainer and nutritionist.

I just said he had no excuse...not that he would magically lose weight just because he has money. It is all a question of will power after all. And if he has a food addiction then he has the money to see a shrink...but the solution is still simple, if you are addicted to food then exercise more.

In any case, rich people have more means to be healthier

And AA meetings might help but they are not one on one, 24/7. private trainers, nutritionists and chefs make all the difference..and that only rich could afford

Whatever dude....theres always some excuse for everything. I think thats the real problem with America, nobody claims responsibility for anything and everyones a victim. Thats why its a country full of pill-poppers and welfare leaches.

If Michael Moore truly has some addiction or what have you....then he should get lipo or have his stomach stapled.

As for compassion..I'll leave that task to Jesus.

That's a load of crap. Eating healthily isn't that expensive at all. I usually feed myself daily for less than the price of a McDonald's or Burger King meal, and I'm on minimum wage. Fruit and vegetables are cheap as hell. I usually purchase meat close to the expiry date and freeze it. Rice, cous-cous or pasta are also cheap. Beer is probably the only edible product that I waste money on.
