Torn

On the one hand, this movie kinda sucked. On the other hand, it had a lot of genuinely funny dialogue in it. It felt like a string of tacked on moments with some really great punchlines. Yeah, the tacked on portion is annoying, but... the jokes. The self-referential humor sometimes worked, sometimes didn't. I preferred how Not Another Teen Movie handled the overly-literal interpretation of everything. Still, the Ironic Pop Songs to Torture To bit was great, I couldn't help but laugh when Anomolie screams "Nooo" and Sam states, "I actually understood that."

It's like thud-funny-thud-funny. I don't know how else to put it.
