Thanks for the heads up. May actually take the kiddos next week. Interestingly, the same comment could be made for Pirates of the Caribbean Dead Man's Chest. There's someone involved in the surprise/cliffhanger ending and if someone had thoroughly researched the cast list, that COULD tip them off. Fortunately, we saw it opening day, so the ending was a complete surprise. ChefAnn

the pirates cast listing had a huge spoiler, trust me cuz it ruined the "surprise ending" for me, i was very pissed.

In the basement DJ finds a locked cage containing the remains of Nebbercracker's wife (a rotund concrete form that, cracked open, reveals the woman's skeleton). It turns out she had been tormented by neighborhood children. Fending off eggs and other projectiles one day, she staggered to the edge of the foundation and accidentally fell to her death in the cellar many feet below, followed by a splash of cement (all shown in flashback).

addendum: i finally saw it. my grandmother died 4 months after the above post. While I was staying with relatives, one of the movies played by the children was this one.
It's a well done story.
