I really loved this movie. One question though. Why did the main character, when putting the note on the car 'ETA want to kill you', go back and rip off a small part of the note and drop it on the ground?

I think the note was written on a bill from his own building business, and the part he ripped off was the place where his address was. He didn't realise at first but of course he could be identified if someone got hold of the note. All the same, he wasn't very professional in doing away with the incriminating bit and it could be the reason why the police nabbed him.
