I've seen the trailer on this movie and I can hardly wait till it comes to theatres. I'm very interested in this new girl, Amanda Renberg, who plays Sofie, the main character. She seems to be great. Still, I don't know very much about this movie. Anyone who does?

F-Åmål was a good movie, and I don't think it was so "typical". And there's nothing saying Hip Hip Hora will be anything like it. I hope I'm right, because we really need some good teen movies in Sweden, don't you think?

we do need more teen movie in sweden but they have to get better scripts and better acting in them i haven't many swedish movies that liked infact the only one I ever really enjoyed was "Ondskan"
shareIf you liked F*cking Åmål and expect something like it you will be REALLY dissapointed. Teresa Fabik totally lacks the talent of Lukas Moodyson when it comes to making a realistic dialogue. When the young actors talk it really feels like they are reading from a paper written by a 30-something who is trying to make the most politicaly correct movie of the year.
The basic plot is OK, but the dialogues suck, both in context and in realism. The casting is also quite bad. They've got the wrong girl for the wrong part i think.
I doubt this movie will up go up outside Sweden. Also i think the only reason it came up in swedish theatres is because of the very news-friendly subject. The swedish tabloids love this movie.

I agree, with Fredguy, the dialouge really stinks. I mean, anyone could write a better script. It is just so stupid all the time.. Well.. Nothing more to say, don't see the movie if u like intelligence, cause this work has a lack of it. A great lack of it.

It's been out here for two years so we have had plenty of chances to watch it.
I actually watched it first time tonight and I thought it quite good.
If you're able to get a hold of it, I recommend it :)
