Who were the guys who killed Maria?

Sonsoles asked her cop-friend(ex-lover, probably), to do what ever possible to solve the phone-calls issue. Because there was no legal way to solve it, the police-officer sent some teen-villains to "pass him a message", to scare him so he stops calling.

When Sonsoles calls her cop friend (the ex-lover who spied on 13 year old Maria), we see the cop's colleagues interrogating a guy in a beard; he'll be the guy who ends up holding Maria.

I'm surprised that there was no legal way to solve it, as the cop says. Surely making harrassing phone calls is a crime in Spain??
At the very least the cop could have warned him not to call again.

Oh well.

Not sure about Spain, but she would pretty much gotten the same answer from any police department in Latin America.
