Is it just me, or is this like TCM 1 1/2? It says in the beginning of TCM2 that Sally went crazy and is now dead. Chainsaw Sally could be about what happened to Sally after the first one: she went crazy and became a killer!
shareNope.... not even a little bit. This is not a part of the TCM movies. The only thing it has in common is that Sally kills with a chainsaw... along with several other methods, and Gunnar Hansen (The original Leatherface) plays her father... not Leatherface.

shareI saw a screening in Los Angeles late last year, and I think you can definitely see the TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE homages in it, and that's NOT neccesarily a BAD thing. I think it's very campy in some ways and has that "SCREAM" type humor in it. But while I wouldn't go so far as to call it TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE 1 1/2 I would say that it is an homage to those types of movies, most notably TCM. Certainly worth taking a look-see for yourself, if you get the chance.
