What's with the makeup?

Whoever the makeup person was, this must've been their very first job. The makeup on the mother and the sister in law for the party scene is horrendous. Way too heavy and overdone. They look like clowns.

But this is a cute movie that I look forward to every year. It's predictable and formulaic, annoying at times....yet I can't look away!

Love the Hallmark Christmas movies but I sure wish they'd stop spraying snow over green leaves, and putting down white foamy bouncy snow where it clearly doesn't belong.
