Live life strong. Fight the bad.

Yes, I have to say that I had avoided watching this movie for a few years now because I knew it was a box office bomb and I was also slightly irritated by one of the shorts I'd seen of it (The Nursing home scene with Bullock in disguise). But because the movie still seems to be shown so often on TV, I thought that maybe it possibly wasn't as bad as was made out to be. So finally I decided to watch it the other night and boy was I sorry. It was even worse that I'd originally feared and would certainly rank up there as one of the worst sequels of all time.

Same here. I saw this on tv last night and was cringing at the repeat jokes from the first movie and the awful script. Gracie Hart was a totally different character in a way that was completely unrealistic and stupid. Awful sequal.

I simply am not there...

Not really embarassing, at all. I don't understand why people hate this film that much.

Very disappointing compared to the first one which i thought was quite funny. this one i found dull.

People hate it because they took such a lovable character and without any warning until you've paid to see the movie said "Welp, we're gonna make her the complete opposite for no reason!" Way to *beep* on the character. The character you love in the first one would never sell out like that and become exactly what she hated. People don't do that come 40 years old. That added to the bad plot and overstuffed narrative made it terrible. It's like doing a Forrest Gump sequel and having Forrest be some Harvard Professor.
