It definitely leaves its mark on you and does grow on you more when you think about it afterwards. Very well played and directed, music is absolutely captivating and the story will break your heart.

I totally agree my friend. The movie is the best Persian movie which I have seen and I must admit if there was enough money behind it, it would’ve been better than any movie released from Hollywood in 2007!

Music in it is something new and yet traditional. The story is heartbreaking but it is so true that I am sure any Persian can related to it somehow.

I have doubts that this movie would be played in Iran due to the restrictions by the government but none the less it would get around on DVDs.

9.5/10 for me

It's a pity that there aren't more people commenting on this movie. Reading the other comments there are deep discussions of Iranian culture and the position that the youth find themselves in, as well as discussion of issues that diaspora experience. That this film has promoted this discussion alone shows that it is a worthy film. I just wish this sort of discussion had participation from more people.
