Very good movie

This was a very good movie, especially for a TV movie. It had lots of action and suspense. It keeps you guessing the whole way through. I thought the acting was superb and the story was very well-thought out and executed. Linda Purl was great as the mom. I'm not really familiar with her, but I think she really became the character and showed a lot of emotion. Great film. Better than the average TV movie.

I've only got one nitpick, it's about the plot. That means there's a spoiler ahead. Don't read on if you don't want to know! When the girl goes to the bathoom, and tries to escape, Jamie's girlfriend knocks on the door. The girl should have said "just a minute" to buy herself more time. Instead, she waits until the person holding her hostage comes to the door and then she jumps out the window. It was inevitable that Jamie would catch her running across the lawn. She easily could have escaped if she just used a little common sense. That's just one little nitpick. Other than that, I really enjoyed this film a lot.

Good movie, but, I think if a stranger showed up claiming to be a son or daughter that the family would do a total back ground check and investigate everything before they believed it. In real life, they would of known their so called son lied about South America and all after they checked it out right away.

I had the same nitpick when I watched it, too. I agree though, it was a great movie. It's coming on again July 23rd at 10pm on LMN for anyone who's interested.

I agree this was a very very good movie!!! I was very surprised that it only got a 5.6 out of 10 review. <3

Agreed.

What hit me was how Kraulis (Jamie) could be so damn charming one minute and total bad azz the next. Great performance. Megan Fahlenbock was superb as a hardened psycho girlfriend. Don't ask me why, but I REALLY liked her. Also think Meredith Henderson (Tara) did a fine job as a typical I'll-get-you bitchy sibling, who ended up having good cause after all.

I thought that, for a change, the neighbor Delia (Sophie Gendron) was on the ball and not clueless like so many other plots. A good one to have as a friend.

The nitpick I have is how easily the mother (Linda Purl) accepted Jamie as her son. However, given her looks, I forgive her. :-) For a few minutes I thought there was going to be some incestuous relationship as she gave her "son" some of the SEXIEST looks I have ever seen. (She'd be in trouble if she looked that way to me. :-) )

I taped this the other night and will burn it to a DVD, commercials and all, for future viewing. (Damn, Linda Purl IS eye-candy.)
