I haven't seen such a boring not funny comedy since I watched the girl next door with some friends. Everything from the beginning to the end is predictable, every single thing that happens has been used many times before in other movies. After five minute I realised this was one of those many crap comedy's who are not worth your time and I can't understand how some people do think it's funny...

Oh and the home-video movies are just like the movie typical and not funny...

I agree. In fact I've never seen anything this pathetic.

As you mention it's extremely predictable.. One of the things which makes you laugh is if something suprising happens.. Here there are no surprises. Obviously funny stuff will make you laugh as well, too bad there were no elements of fun. Also the scenes supposed to be fun, is anything but original, which makes this film a pain to watch.

The outtakes was way more fun than the film itself.

This wasn't a very good movie. Yes it was predictable and done many times before but... if you've never seen anything more pathetic, dude, you need to get out more. You haven't seen a lot, have you? Rant rant rant.

The only bit i found funny was the part when Chris Klein and Brendan Fehr got kicked out off the club and he described himself as 'thouroughly angry' i found that pretty amusing.

Other than that it was a pretty stupid move.

i thought it was lame as well. What amkes this movie special anyway its just recycled material rolled into a movie , the acting is awful , the storyline predictable, but i suppose i have seen worse movies but i think this movie deserves a place in the bottom 100

Yeah, this film was pretty horrible. I had to shield my eyes from a lot of the "flashbacks" which were just disgusting and I don't know who the hell would find them amusing..

One of the only bits where I laughed out loud was when Chris's character is looking for his brother and goes to the hospital- shows a photo and asks if the ladies seen "this guy" then draws a towel on his head and goes "how about now?" Just the way he delivered it and looked all dejected after was hilarious but otherwise.. I was really disappointed.

I didn't expect much, but I also didn't expect it to be THAT bad.. :(

lol, i think the vergins find this funny, so i think your closer to that then the others... this was just the most worst, and crappy movie i have ever seen... to pathetick, to commercial... to NOT-original, actually, i was wondering, did the movie contain even one scene that was not stolen or ripped of some other cheap movie ?

Come on guys. This is supposed to be a stupid movie. A very stupid but still extremly funny movie. Extremly funny for them (including me) who like this kind of stupid humor. And all the good looking women is a big bonus.

I think that you either love it or hate it.

Yeah I like stupid humor movies. But there are some terrible exeamples where it isnt funny anymore, like Dumb and Dumber 2.

It was a good movie. Yes maybe the content was done before and it was predictable, but the jokes and the stuff from the video camera were frickin hilarious. Not to mention Chris Klein acting cocky as hell. The first 45 minutes, I was laughing my ass off and then the jokes stop coming after that. But still, Chris Klein cracked me up laughing more than anything else in the film.

you all are complete retards. This movie is not supposed to be some award winning, slapstick, hollywood cast, top 5 in the box office comedy. It was a straight to DVD movie and was funny. But if you are trying to compair it to like the 40 year old virgin, or some adam sandler comedy its not going to get there. Of course its cheasy, predictable, and ripped off from other movies. IT SUPPOSED TO BE!!!!! So go blow an Entertainment Weekly and shut the f_uck up!

This is actually one of the funniest movies I've ever seen along with American Pie 5 and Grandma's Boy. It's stupid humour that's not supposed to be taken seriously.. just to be laughed it. If you take this movie seriously, you obviously need to pull down you're pants and *beep* the closest hole to you.

One of the most..fkd up, lame and boring movies EVER!!!

I couldnt stand even 30mins of it. Even hot Cobie dint make me wanna watch the rest of the movie...yuck!

If there was a 0/10 on IMDB..i would just give it that...but sadly..1/10 is the lowest we can give :(

I made up my mind I was going to watch it till the end. It almost killed me, but Cobie did lessen the pain slightly. The only time I almost snickered was when he was trying to "hold off" and thinking about those videos. I said "almost".

Oh hahaha...there are fart jokes!
Lame writing, bad acting, boring. This movie has it all!
...And to top it off, the "flashbacks" on video are a poor
ripoff of the show "Dream On", which WAS funny!

I think "Girl Next Door" is a multiple academy award winner compared to "the long weekend. I'd call it a steaming pile of crap, but that would be giving away most of the plot points. Of course, I was watching G.N.D. mostly for Elisha Cuthbert, so I wasn't disappointed in what I got.
