I think a 4.8 is a bit too low for this movie. Sure it was banal at times, and the whole concept of the home video references was pretty easy. But I think the overall writing was great. It had a nice structure, and some sharp and funny dialogue. The acting performances were fine, and there were no real sick or disturbing jokes. And the most important thing is, it entertained me for an hour and 15 minutes. Which is, at the end of all things, what it's all about when you watch a comedy, right? There are enough people who rated this movie higher than a 5, so let's post some positive stuff about this movie.

this movie was so bad that that 2 hours i spent watching this will always be the most boring and useless hours in my life so no its not underated

When 25% of the total playing time consists of animals (mostly elephants and monkeys) jerking of, it should not be called underrated.

that movie was mostly disgusting, the rest was boring.
I'd prefer watching a full length Terrance&Phillip movie

it really really seemed to be a ripp-off of 40 year old virgin, which wasn't all that funny either. but the few jokes in this movie was pretty good. i guess u have to be in a certain mood to enjoy it.

It would have to be the other way around since it actually came out before 40-Year old version, but nice try.

Okee, so maybe a 4.8 is something to low, but I'd say a 6 at best.

The first 45 minutes was the funniest. Chris Klein basically and the videos were the jokes. I don't care if the concept has been done before, it's the jokes and humour that counts. Also if people are bagging the new films because of repeated concepts, tell them to write a fresh script for Hollywood - somethnig that hasn't been done before. It's not as easy as you think.

Devulus, the movie featured a whole minute of the guy taking a crap in a public toilet. Gimme a break, i can even do better than this.

Disgusting and funny are not the same thing. Maybe that is why there are two different words in the Emglish language. Sometimes with modern comedy films I get the idea that the film makers thing the words actually are synonyms.

Funny: Causing laughter or amusement
Disgusting: Arousing aversion or disgust

See - they actually are different.

Watching someone get pooped in the face is not funny unless you are about 7 years old when the word poop is funny all on its own.

This movie could have been funny and it was at times but with many modern comedy films, it is almost as if they are not content until you have laughed a few times and are also disgusted. It is like in their minds, laughter is the sex and disgust is the organsm.

4.8 is way to high... I think of 5 as average and if this is the average comedy now... Well you know as I write this I am thinking maybe it is the average comedy so maybe 4.8 is right.

Can anyone tell me which actress he winds up wity at the end of the movie?
The drop dead gorgeous brunette.

Thats Canadian actress Cobie Smulders..check her out on the hit tv series How I met your mother,she looks smokin hot in it!

Hell yeah this movie was underated big time. I can name a few movies it was better than Wedding crashers, meet the parents, rush hour 3, and old school.

Worst movie I have seen in a long, long, long time. How Cobie Smolders thought this would good for her career I don't know. It is a shame since she is such a talent, but not even her presence makes this flick worthwhile. If I could have I would given this dreck no stars - it does deserve even one.
