Okay, so I'll get slammed by all the Jason lovers..

But is this autobiographical, or what? =)

His career flopped after 90210, going "from A list to B list in a year" (as the trailers/previews quote from the upcoming premier)..

In an attempt to get his popularity back, he comes up with a last ditch effort to save himself. And gee, a non-reality-show comes out of it.

So I liked him in 90210, but I haven't since. I'm actually not sure if he knows how to act.

Can you mention any of his roles since that didn't mirror Brandon Walsh? He's got the exact same personality, actions, even demeanor in every one of his roles since. He can play one role, and only one role - himself.

Which, I guess isn't bad, if that's what the role calls for. But, it doesn't make him a good actor, it makes him, himself.

Don't mean to rag on him.. but when I saw the previews for Who Wants to Marry, I got a giggle - - it's as close to autobiographical as can be.

(okay.. here come all the Jason lovers' comments =) .. it's okay, I don't mean to rag on him, but you know exactly what personality he'll have in every role he's in - it gets old.. and it's just funny that this one mirrors his own life so much. haha)

I am a Jason lover. I think he is great. If being himself is what he is doing. He can keep on doing it. I will keep watching. He is so cute. I love his personality. He has done some movies where he is a real bastard. But, I did not like him like that. You should rent Eye Of The Beholder. He is a crazy man in that. But, he just does not come across as a crazy man. He is much better in the nice guy role. It works for him. I think he is so great. He can keep being himself for as long as he wants. I will always be a fan.

Wow people.. I'm impressed - I actually expected passionate irrational insulting responses! I guess I've been on imdb too long.. thanks for renewing - positively - my expectations!

I'll keep the suggestions in mind.. I've seen him in several things, but maybe I'm just tainted. I don't think he can surprise me anytime soon, but it's been known to happen.

I just thought it was so funny - and ironic - that this was so fitting for his situation!

I haven't seen this movie yet (I was just looking at Jason Priestley movies) but I've seen him in 90210 and Tru Calling. I'd say that even though his role in 90210 was an easy role, he's a talented actor. But that's my opinion. Also, I'm not sure if you've seen Tru Calling, but he plays Jack, who's personality is completely different from Bradon's. He(Jason Priestley/Jack) also has a way of being charismatic yet completely lacking in personality at the same time, and for some reason I love it. I've heard some people say that his role as Jack is bad acting, but it's really not, that's just the way the character is supposed to be presented. Now, I can't say anything about any other roles cause that's all I've seen. But I'm not gonna bash him, cause I like what I've seen of him, and he's a better actor than I could ever be.

he decided to go BEHIND THE CAMERA instead of in front of it After 90210. COmpletely on his own terms...his own decision. He will be starring on Tru calling for 7 episodes,,,i hope he stays on the show. He will be known and loved no matter what where and when =)

I've seen some previews for that.. and finally, he doesn't "look" like Brandon!

So I think seeing him in a totally different character, and losing his 50's sideburn James Dean look, I think he'll be easier to swallow in the future..

He looks like he and Eliza would fit nicely as a team on Tru!
