Was anyone else disappointed that there wasn't an actual baseball game in this movie? (he never got to actually use his pitch)... it's something I didn't really understand about the plot (if there actually was one)

I was hoping for more of a Shaolin Soccer style battle (while playing actual baseball) so yeah, i was a little disappointed... but over all still enjoyed this movie.
loved the featurettes.
