me and my friend watched this movie and the whole time we were either on the ground laughing so hard we were crying or we were looking into eachothers eyes trying to find our sanity cause this movie definitly tries to steal it from you.But in the end i could definitly be proud to tell people ive seen this movie.

I can't believe the the best and the worst movie I've seen this year had the same actor in them. Tak Sakaguchi. Versus being the best and Battlefield Baseball being the worst. I could write a better script by tomorrow. One of the biggest gripes I've got is none of the gore appears on screen. And he breaks out in song! I had a little vomit come up in my mouth when that happened. The evil team was cool, but that's about the only thing I can say about this film. Hopefully Versus 2 will be as good as the first.

Yes, Battlefield baseball wasn't as good as Versus, but I still love it! It's very funny! My favorite scence is when Jubeh & his team are battling Gedo, & Jubeh's & Megane's mom(old bag) is chasing people with that big stone! Haha! That was funny!

I bought the dvd for Battlefield Baseball at the reasonable price of 30 bucks at suncoast and I wish I'd payed at least thrice that amount for the honour of basking in all it's irreverent glory.

This is Japanese comedy at it's absolutely most annoying. I couldn't watch more than 30 minutes of this movie without tearing my hair out.

Battlefield Baseball has its moments, but overall, it could have been a lot better and sillier. Any scene with the grandmother is gold, as is the touching song explaining how his father died. As a wacky Asian comedy, City Hunter destroys Battlefield Baseball.

I mean, I NEVER found any of these stupid mainstreamed movies, like 'hangover', or 'knocked up' or any stupid college humor titty movies funny at all. I always found myself laughing at japanese flicks like Versus and this one, and even some PG movies because of pure silliness and innocence, and of course mocking gore and violence to lighten things up. It's ironically optimistic. Not dumb ass racist, sexist, stupid jokes like american films these days. Goddamn. You people need to figure out your sense of humor first before watching and being a troll about it.
