Why is this movie in limited release?

Does anyone know why this movie is in limited release? I don't understand? Why would a studio make a movie and not try to make a lot of money off of it? Is this movie just supposed to be an art house kind of film? Why release the movie now? Why not wait until later in the year?

I Have the same question!!! :S
I don't think they made only an Art movie!! Because Salma received 7.5 Million salary, Imagine collin? :S I hope somebody knows!!!
