shareSeriously??? I thought he was great. Creeped the jeepers out of me, and was funny sometimes. When he was losing it, after showing the coffins off, and he says, "I want to talk...Kathy!! I want to talk to you!!!" Funny.
And at the end... That thing with the axe. That was scary.
I think he did great. And, holy cats... He loved BOSS in those PJ bottoms!!
I don't think the OP needs to watch more movies. I think that maybe you just weren't happy with the choice.
However, I didn't love him in it either. I thought he was too over the top too fast. But that could've been the directors choice. Looks wise though I think he fit. Other than that I liked it better. It was not as hokey.

He's right, dumb ass. This movie is really bad. It's ok to mock ignorant people with little experience in movie viewing. Maybe it will encourage the person to watch better horror films. Remember, when someone embraces a *beep* movie, it increases the odds of more *beep* movies being made!
shareWhat make you such an authority? I've seen countless horror movies. This wasn't the best I've seen but I certainly enjoyed it. Definitely a lot better than most post millennium horror movies. Let people enjoy stuff that you don't.

Seriously though, the movie is pretty bad-its MOSTLY bad because there is a far superior movie that predates it.
If it was original, I definitely would have given it more slack, but its not.
We must judge remakes more harshly-because-maybe you've never studied film at school like some of us? - the point of a remake is to add something to it, to enhance it or there is no point in remaking it.
YOU think the movie is bad. Others think it's good and they judge them how they see fit. We don't follow your rules.

rent the original-it's GOOD and youll do more than just "enjoy" it

Meh, the original was really boring. Literally a snoozefest. Couldn't finish it of how boring it was, at least I could finish this one
