Is this movie worth watching?

Yes it is, for one it's pretty intense and it's interesting to see Ryan Reynolds as someone serious and not his usual self.

It's a no from me, nowhere near as good as the original. It's not in the least bit frightening.

Unless you are a millennial I would say NO. I thought it was a real turd. If you liked the original I wouldn't recommend this.

Its ok. There are some good elements mixed in, but its not a spectacular movie.

Watch the original first if you haven't already, then watch this one.

Then go back and watch the original again and try to forget you ever saw this one.

It has one moment I could watch over and over. While showing the house to the Lutzes, the frightened realtor notices a shadow person out of the corner of her eye… and tries desperately to hide her terror when responding to the potential buyers.

Not really, its junk. The babysitter is kinda sexy. But this is an entirely disposable movie. It's all (other than the DeFeo murders) a hoax anyway, but you can at least watch the original movie about the hoax, rather than this reheated dinner.

Only worthwhile thing about the movie is the insanely hot babysitter played by Rachel Nicols. You can just look up her scenes in YouTube.
