R.R. Was HOT As George Lutz

He was excellent eye candy throughout this horror flick. It's an old, tiring story, but he brought a refreshing perspective to it with his sexy, sometimes creepy, performance. I loved how he was shown walking around the house with just his pajama bottoms on. If I had been there, I would've yanked them down! 😘

Swing away, Merrill....Merrill, swing away...

Finally someone appreciates Ryans acting. Hes good in many things. He is great in this and Just Friends

reply

The guy is a good actor. Nines...weird movie, and he carried it. He was excellent in Amityville. Scared the hell out of me, at least!

Swing away, Merrill....Merrill, swing away...

reply

Amen, amen, amen!!!

I don't really get scared by horror films where it's people that are the baddies, but Ryan, and the writers, made his character so creepy. To see him slowly get frustrated by his own family and go crazy was very disturbing and creepy to me.
It reminds me of this movie "There's Something About Kevin" which is also very very creepy.

Gorge lutz was gross i was suprised they cast Reynolds and brolin who are good looking

reply

RR is a great actor and obviously well put together but what do you think of Josh Brolin playing George Lutz?

reply

"James" Brolin is a handsome man, but when he appeared in the 1979 version, I just thought he had too much 1970s hair. Josh Brolin though, he'd make a good George Lutz too, but that would make him look like he's copying his father. No one beats R.R. in the role.

Yeah R.R was great, I just kept laughing when he appeared on screen, probably from his many comedic roles. What did you think of Melissa George's accent? I'm Australian too so it's more difficult for me to judge whether she pulled off the American accent or not.

reply

No. Reynolds is ok, but too goofy to be scary. That bod though!

reply

Haha. He's not great. He plays the same goofy guy in every movie. Fun, is a better description.

reply

His nice body made him unbelievable in the part. Regular joes in the 70s didn't look like that

reply

A man in the 70s starring in a 70s movie playing a man from the 70s who had a big head of 70s hair has too much 70s hair. Hmmmm.

The only difference between Brolin and Lutz was that Lutz was blond, Brolin is swarthy.
