in chapter 18... just after the college is given one year of probation... whats that song when the main character kisses the chick? it kinda goes like do-do-do de do do do ..etc
It happens during the court thing... when they win after adams long speech and the guys like "dont judge our faces"
No .. that's not the song. That's the song that plays after Barnaby (sp?) and Monica kiss but the song we're talking about is the song that plays RIGHT AFTER the judge person says that the college would be open for 1 year and when everyones cheering.
EDIT :: after watching it another time, I heard a little bit of the lyrics and he starts out kind of "da da da doo de da da" and then "looooove, cooome againnnn" ... something like that.
I searched AMAZON for Accepted soundtrack and apprently, the song isnt on there....
So i searched WIKIPEDIA "Accepted" which has a little section on the soundtrack AND songs that were NOT on the soundtrack. For some strange reason NON of the songs NOT featured in the soundtrack did not sound anything like the song i'm looking for...
no u retard thats another part of the movie!!!!!! i know that song too!! the part where the guy gos "i wanted to learn jazz trombone" and then all the people r runnin around and monicas lookin 4 bartelby and they kiss and all that!! it goes "looooooooooove come again" !!!!! guys go look in da credits and at the end it writes all da songs
Here's a list that i wrote down on notepad while pausing the movie continously just to type it down...
These songs i have NOT LISTENED to yet... and unable to find it on the internet *COUGH*
Joe Stiteler - Keepin' your head up Scott Thomas - I'm better By Divine right - Sweet confusion The ringers - spotlite The Daniel May Quartet - Walkin' the walk

I don't think it's available anywhere. I've heard every song they listed in the end credits and it's not there, but there are downloadable MP3's if you put the DVD in your computer (but you have to have a DVD-Rom drive). Check if it's there. I'd do it, but I don't have a DVD-Rom drive in my PC.
"Q: What song is playing when all the *beep* kids are happy in the courtroom because they're able to continue the college? (from JOhn in washington) A: I'm not sure what the name is, but I think the artist is David Schommer. If you put the DVD into your computer (if it has a DVD-rom drive), it'll let you download some original songs made for the movie in MP3 format. It may be there. (thanks to Anthony, Chicago, IL)"
So guys, if any of you are able to successfully download the song that we all seek, please let us know.
part 10 on the youtube postings is the credits and the songs used are there- you could Google or sample in itunes every song (there's not that many) and find the right one.

I will give anyone a $50 dollar gift certificate for Apple online if they can correctly tell me the name of the song and who sang it. I can give the code that works online at apple.com store.
I love this song, but like everyone else, I can't find out what it's name is. It's like El Dorado. We know it exists, but we don't know where. :D So, Bumpo, please find it!
Does anyone have IMDB PRO and maybe can get some phone numbers from people who made the movie? You can post it and some of us will call and try and find out.
Yes but I think it is a lost cause. The thing is, even if it was recorded just for the movie they had to of made a full song. Why won't they release it?!
I´m just wondering... what are the folks doing who actually worked on the movie? Do they never get the chance to have a look at this thread? Pls., let us know what's that song called...
I would like to know what this song is too. But, more importantly, there's a Pixies song in this movie! U-Mass totally fits the moment they used it in. No one uses them anymore except for this movie and the O.C. - and when it was on the O.C. it was because what's-his-face was all drunk.
Off topic, but about Pixies, so altogether worthy.
I to have been looking for this song. I watched the movie today for the first time in awhile and Im wanting this song as well. The song plays 3 times first when bartleby makes that fake acceptance letter close to the begging of the movie and again it plays when he gives the speech to all the kids in the middle of the movie and also at the end when they decide to let the college stay open for a 1 year trial.
Yea I still check. I really wish someone with authority would pick up on this and say fans have been looking for 2 years and make a story out of it, lol. That way someone can see it and tell us who it is.
ok, here's an idea. try googling the lyrics and see what comes up and try from there. you'll get farther than you would by just bumping the thread over and over again. good luck, btw
I have been searching for the song since a long time and came across this thread after going through each post i was hoping that somewhere someone could come up with the name of the song, but was dissapointed.
Anywayz i had sent and email to universal studios about this. So everyone just keep your fingers crossed hope they give a positive reply and we come to know the name of the song.

Well, first off, I'm not a Director.. Just a film music composer. And this song was never released on a sound track, (Nor would it be forthcoming) it's just a short cue for a film, like basically one minute long.
But, I was super flattered that you were searching for it, and am sending it to you here on a personal musical gift vibe. Enjoy!

SO guys finally we have achieved it......will update you guys soon on any further developments..
It's 2010, more than 2 years since i made this topic.
I am going to download the song and listen to it before i sleep.
I will read everything you posted tomorrow.
But I will say this now:
Thank you so much. You are truly remarkable for putting so much effort into finding a song that nobody knows. After years of finding it, everyone would've given up by now.
Wow, I can't believe you guys finally found it! I posted here two years ago, and it had already been two years you all were looking, so a four-year quest... Glad to hear the good news! I'll download the track too.
Even if it is not a "full" song, I still love this tune! If the composer made a full single version of it, it'd have surely became a big hit. Well, it's kind of a forum-hit already...
