Did the show wrap up well?
I usually only start an old series if I know it has a good final episode. Just afraid it might not feel complete since it got canceled....

The reason it was canceled was the cost... They actually filmed where real roman constructs were still standing.. For the best look and atmosphere. and created realistic clothing not just something off the rack from
togas"R"us. Trying to keep everything locations Etc. Real cost too much for a regular series
