what video of michel gondry's do you think is the most off-the-wall, insane, brilliant, mind-boggling video that gondry has directed.

my vote goes to sugar water by cibo matto. ive seen the bulk of gondry's work. i saw the white stripes videos. i saw the bjork videos. and i just now have seen the cibo matto video on itunes and i think as mind-bogglingly great as his other videos are, this one tops them all. one take split into two screens. one runs backwards from the end to the beginning and the other runs forward from the beginning to the end. and that's just where gondry's idea starts. where he takes it from there is what makes it unbelievable.

Sugar Water was unbelievably directed and planned. I also like 'Around the World' and the Foo Fighters video.

Defenetly "Beck - Deadweight"!

I really like "Stardust - Music sounds better with you" video. But it wasnt on the DVD :(

Lucas With a Lid Off was my favorite because it took me awhile to figure out what was going on, and when i did figure it out it was so simple and brilliant to me. Im not crazy about the song but i really like the music video.

* Even though its not a music video i thought the Spinwheel painting was amazing!!!! That was such genius! *

Of course it is 'Knives Out' by Radiohead. Not included on this dvd, that's a shame. otherwise it'll be 'Let forever be' or 'Bachelorette' and of course 'Protection'.
