Well, Linda's lost some beauty since she first starred with the Beast. Makes me realize we're all getting older. And more beasty.

Hello Petlady. I know you are a fan of Linda. And a conversation between a fan and a more objective viewer might be not the best conversation there is. Still, I have a question, because you used the word 'dork'. Do you mean 'dork' as in 'dull stupid fatuous person'? If so, then in your view
- I'm dull for exposing my opinion, which could mean not exposing my opinion at all makes me more interesting
- I'm stupid - meaning lacking intellectual acuity - for exposing some subjectivity. I can't remember ever seeing a question related to a subjective matter in any IQ test
- I'm fatuous, for my definition of beauty might differ from yours. Isn't there another word for that? Well, I'm in China and my excuse for not knowing that word is: English is not my native language. Sorry for that.
- I'm a person. Well, there's no way of denying that.

Well, maybe "dork" was a little bit harsh. So I have deleted the entire message. However, judging someone on their looks just because they are getting older is not exactly polite! The reason I am defending Linda Hamilton about her beauty is because she is a beautiful woman inside and out!! She looks completely natural- not one of those nightmares that went on the "botox bandwagon" one too many times! You are entitled to your own opinion but please try not to be so blunt about a person that a lot of people are fans of. I know she is a celebrity but she is also a good person (met her twice!! Total Sweetheart!! :) ) I hope this clears it up for you. By the way I like that you are from China and can spell and use proper grammer!! You'd be amazed how many on this board have trouble with that!!

Mind you, Petlady24, I'm IN China, not Chinese (no it's worse: I'm Dutch!). Anyway, thanks for the compliment. And for the rest you're right, It was just so that I felt perplexed to see her now after I saw her last in T2 - which I think is one of the best movies ever. Maybe I expected not much change, in fact very naive... That's why I said: I realize we're all getting older. Forget about the 'beastier', that was one of my dorkish remarks.

The Beauty and the Beast! Twas so nice to have those two back together again...just too bad there were no scenes with the two together. This was a great movie. I just saw it. My family said I picked a great movie to watch on a Sunday afternoon. My sister didn't think it would be good but she was wrong. In fact, I didn't know Perlman was in this movie. I only saw the credit for Glover, Hamilton and Straithorn. What a surprise when I returned home and saw brother Perlman starring. This is a must see movie for everyone!

shareI loved Beauty and the Beast. I was so danged jealous of that Beast that I wanted to throw acid on my face and then put carpet shavings to round the look...just so I could get Linda Hamilton!
