I just seen it and it was great! Very sad though..
sharejust saw it... amazing... Reminded me though of Pollyana, changing the town and hearts of people... yet the store is uniquely its own... amazing. I've seen "the wall" twice, and I can't get over it. One thing that stands out vividly in my memory of my first trip there, I saw a cigerette but laid in the cubby area at the bottom of the wall-probably from a veteran paying back a cigerette his buddy had lent him during the war. I even have one of those silver bracelets that bears the name of a soldier who is MIA or POW... those shops are said to remain open till we find out what happened to every soldier.
This movie though is amazing in how it shows the veterans feelings and emotions when they come in contact with Lenny, a Vietnamese girl. It is hard to remember and understand (at least, before this movie) why someone would be afraid of little girl...
Amazingly done... Recommended it to all my friends. Stunning performances from the whole cast. I don't know what possessed me to rent it, but I am glad.

I watched it with my mom and we cried lol!!! It was an amazing movie and so sad when the little girl (i forgot her name sorry) died at the end and also it was amazing to see her help the man also. Many people should see this movie, the moral and the messege of this movie is wonderful...
