Does anyone know what song the countess was playing on the piano?

Tolstoy's Waltz by Leo Tolstoy.

Maybe you can help me with another song question -- What is the song that the Pierrot is singing in the bar where Ralph Fiennes meets Matsudo? Based on the costume I thought perhaps it was something from Pagliacci, but as I listen more closely, I'm not even sure it's French. It almost sounds Russian or slavic at times. What the heck language is it? Am I just mishearing?

the pierrot character was Alexander Vertinsky (see Wikipedia) who was fantastically played in the film by Pierre Seznec. the song was either 'Two Guitars', 'Yellow Angel' or 'Pink Sea'.

That piano song has been driving me nuts trying to find too. Listen to Chopin Nocturne in C# minor.. think this is the song..

Hi. I think Natasha was playing John Field's Nocturne No. 10 in E Minor. I should remember as I was there!
