Or maybe people that were around and knew Crash and the others at the time. I'm curious to what any of them have to say about this awful film. I don't know much of anything about Darby Crash on a personal level, but this seemed incredibly misleading and cliche-ridden to the bone. It's a shame because it could have been really great.

Of course they have seen it, the three surviving members actually helped with the movie. I know they were on set to help the actors who had to impersonate them, for instance. And probably other things. I don't remember reading their opinion about the movie, except that they all really liked how Shane West played Darby Crash and how he sang the songs, which was, according to them, really true to the real Darby Crash. That's the reason why they reformed the Germs with Shane West acting as lead singer I guess.
