I first saw this film at the cinema and i was really dissapointed. I found the storyline boring, it wasn't funny, and it just seemed like a pointless movie wasting the talent of Cage and Caine.

But, having seen it a few more times on tv, my opinion has completely changed. It doesn't have laugh out load jokes, but there is a lot of dry humour that makes me laugh. I also find the story very moving and can really relate to characters.

I think the reason i didn't enjoy it the first time round was because i was expecting a typical comedy with laugh out load funny bits, and that just wasn't the case, but this film is soo much more than just a comedy.

Anyone else feel the same?

erm *raises hand* The first time i saw this movie i completely forgot about it, it didnt mean much to me at all, but then the more i watched the more i liked it, the last time i did i almost cried on the car scene (you know where david's dad calls him weather man and asks him about what he was trying with the song on his living funeral) and last time i watched it i shed a tear, so probably the next time i do i'll be crying from begining to end. but ya a great movie that has to be seen more than once
