The thing about this, YES it was filmed in chicago, having lived in Bolingbrook and both Plainfield illinois. They refer to that shooting range as Bolingbrook, when really its plainfield.

Any reason?

I've been to the range in Plainfield. If you're heading south on route 59 from Naperville, turn left on main st and it will be on your left a few min down the road. Was pretty surreal being there. The guy in the film that sells the bow and arrow to cages daughter in the film is the guy that owns the place. His house is attached to the range.

Where was the country club?

The country club is the Evanston Golf Club located at 4401 Dempster Street, Skokie IL
