The 'Like a Rock' scene with his dad in the car

First off, I enjoyed this movie a lot more than others have I see.

That scene with his dad in the car was great. The acting by Caine saying he was proud of his son was very emotional. Probably the best scene in the movie.

Except for the fact it looked as though someone had rubbed citrus juice into Caine's eyes using a fine glass paper.

With your feet in the air and your head on the ground, try this sig with spinach!

Agreed. That scene just had me in tears.

That scene was definetely a tear-jerker.  Cage & Caine really killed it in that scene.

This scene, for me, made the movie, partly because I identified with it on a personal level. It was the point when David finally realized that he could be his own person, and that he was successful in his own right, and he could finally step out of the shadow cast by his larger-than-life father.

This movie is totally underrated in my book.

My name is Gladiator - Maximus Decimus Meridius
