Camera Work made me Nauseous

It may just be me but, did anyone else almost feel sick...or get a headache because of the camera constantly moving around....up down, left right, etc...during those soccer game scenes?
I mean, I'm used to the documentary style of camera work ( Trailer Park Boys, Delicate Art Of Parking, Fubar, etc...) but, this movies camera work was awful!

reply

Yeah, I noticed the same thing. The camera work in this film was completely horrible.

Men are like parking spaces: all the good ones are taken, and the available ones are handicapped.

reply

it cant be as bad as the camerawork for The Bourne Supremacy

Last Film I Watched:
Heat - Michael Mann(9/10)

reply

Yeah...the good old every two second camera switch............gotta hate that. This movie didn't switch cameras as often however, the constant shaking of the camera was enough to make me ill. Really started giving me a bit of a headache after a while..which led to feeling sick...which led to me not watching the rest of the movie.
Well actually, not watching the rest of the movie was due to the fact the camera work made me sick & the movie itself was so bad it made me ill.

reply

I thought the camera work was pretty good, actually. And to say it made you feel ill is stupid.

Well, it did! And no, that is not stupid. And that's that.

You should take come medication for that cough...and to call yourself stupid ....may just be the effects of a flu coming on....get better pal,

I thought my joke was funnier, though I may be biased.

Did you watch the fullscreen version? That could be a reason the camera was constantly moving, since this is supposed to be 2.35:1.
