shareSwimmers will be released on DVD exclusive to Netflix subscribers in the next several months - possibly sometime in 2007, then go out to other outlets after that ....
A bit vague, I know, but schedules and details are still being worked out.

I hope it get released soon, I live in New Zealand, so it didn't get any theatrical release here, and I'd really like to see the movie.

Just when I'm getting all pissy with NetFlix because they won't send me the newest crap fast enough...I get to watch "Swimmers" on my PC for free, thanks to my subscription.
Amazing film, amazing cast, real drama heavy enough to cut with a knife...I actually WROTE DOWN Emma's final lines as soon as I heard them: "I know people who forget they're alive..." (Splash)
I'm just surprised I can't recommend this "DVD" to friends, because apparently it doesn't exist! It certainly should...

I'm not prepared to pay a monthly subscription to Netflix, or anyone else for that matter.
Howver, I would love to own this on a physical format.
There is nothing (but, money) to stop a small independent film company selling their movie, privately, on any format, via their website.
Photonic, Holographic Versatile Disc (HVD), Blu-Ray...
Heck, I'll even kick it old school and buy it on DVD! a Laserdisc, even!

I´m like the happiest person in the world. I finally saw this great movie. I orderd the italien DVD on ebay. The DVD also have the original english audio.
