This would be considered genius if the game hadn't come first

If this was the first time Pyramid Head showed up and also the first time we saw this town, as well as heard the music the first time, it would be considered an amazing movie.

Yet I still don't understand why it's below 7.5. I think they messed up the last few scenes, but you can't really blame a young girl like Jodelle for lousy acting when she's just starting out.

I agree, but for a different reason.

I think there is a stigma attached to movies based on video games. When people hear that a movie is based on a video game, then people automatically assume that the movie will be bad (and to be fair; most movies based on games are bad).

I think that's true. I haven't been a gamer since the days of my Sega Mega Drive/Genesis and have never played the SH games. But as a movie I enjoyed it. Very haunting.
