Rosario Dawson was suppose to do Monica Belluci's role in this movie. But the production was postponed and Oliver Stone offered her the part in Alexander.
Damn! I wish she would have took this role because Alexander was CRAP (except for Rosario's part)
for some reason i don't think rosario dawson would have been believable as an italian mafia boss's daughter. she just doesn't have that kind of range.

No, word on the set was she was supposed to play Kerry Washington's character. ALso cast was Jeffrey Wright and Mos Def but they turned it down. Spike was pissed off at Rosario for doing Oliver Stone's Alexander instead. Doesn't matter because both films were flops.
