This movie is crap.

Spike Lee, get some rest. Many years worth. Because this movie was so unorganized, and insulting to the lgbt community. What is it with movies about gay couples being portrayed as on the fence about their sexualities these days? Why can't a director have a gay female character who doesn't sway between genders. 1.) Kerry and her partner had no chemistry. The scenes between them were awkward. 2) polygamy? Really? You couldn't come up with a better happy ending for all of the main characters than that disgusting (almost ending) scene between Jack, Fatima, and Alex. I almost threw my remote at the tv. This movie seemed like a good idea on paper, but was directed into a big old mess. Do better. What a waste of camera, actors, sets, and crew. No substance in this movie.
