When I came here first in 2008 I found a board, where people from various continents vividly discussed films, love and life in general. Embedded was an unbelievable reallife Canadian-Singaporean love-story between two posters, who had met at this board. Despite my poor English I was friendlily invited to join in the talk. At that time I was a single retired paraplegic physician in my early 40es, who didn’t even pay attention to my sexual orientation because I didn’t even dream of ever having a romance again.

The talks put me in the mood for a new love in the lesbian department and encouraged me to look out for it. That I promptly found it via internet was a complete miracle. Meanwhile we live in a patchwork family and since 4 days Alex and I are

JUST MARRIED

Congratulations Ruth!!!!

First of all my apologies for my tardiness in responding. Your news was announced just prior to my traveling to very southern California from very far north on the west coast of the US to tend to some family matters. And as is common in the US, trying to get away for a week or two creates hectic times before leaving and after returning.

Anyways, I am very happy for your wonderful news. I wish you years of happiness together! It is gratifying to even consider the possibility that our little on-line community played a part in your finding a soulmate, no matter how large or small a part we played.

Let's never come here again because it would never be as much fun.

Somehow this makes me want to burst out singing "matchmaker matchmaker make me a match, find me a find, catch me a catch...."😀

This board has a great matchmaking record so far, Ruthbasilisk and Alex are still happily married and Nora and I will officially tie the knot when we pass out tenth year anniversary, coming up this April. That is alot of years of lesbian love. Wilde_child if you provide your shoe size, age and the names of your three favourite vegetables we should be able to help.
