I was looking at DOWNFALL and GENERATION WAR and found this film.

I had never heard of this film.

I might want to see it.

How can we fairly describe it? is it one of those modern German films that seek to understand the lives of people under the nazis? or is it a gay film?,is it worth seeking out?

Primarily no it's not meant to be a gay movie. The friendship between the main characters is intense. It's a film that focuses on the Nazi Youth and how they were trained & came to be, until it comes to the two boys who realize the true nature of it.
