I've always thought that cry_wolf looks and feels like an unofficial entry in the Urban Legends movie series. If Sony Pictures (rights holders of the Urban Legends films) had bagged the distribution rights for cry_wolf and released it as Urban Legends: cry_wolf, it would have fitted right in.

the story was concluded 100%. showing anything after that point would be completely redundant.
