Why did they get rid of the hot keys?

Ok the game i s still playable compared to the last 2 but why oh why did they get rid of the hot keys?

It used to be that once you were familar with te controls you knew which button to press for the knife/rifle/machine gun/grenade etc. This meant that while your cammando was walking running you could arm him with the appropriate item.

However in this one you have the stupid hexagonal pics at the bottom which you have to click on or you have to scroll through weapons with q/w. This means you wither have to move your mouse of the playing screen to select an item or scroll through with q/w which mean you may be walking and wish to select the knife but in cycling through the weapons come across the machine gun which makes you man stop in his tracks. very annoying.

Moreover you only ever find items in boxs and no longer in desks/shelfs etc. Surely more advanced games are meant to have a more varied array of items/location etc yet this sequal seem s to go backwards to a more simple and thus less enjoyable.
