I love the 80's....

I really like this show. I was born in 1981 and I was watching that particular segment this morning. I have one problem with the show. Why do they have someone commenting on trends and styles from that period that wasnt born then? I could be on I love 86 or 87 cuz i really remember a lot of that stuff. I dont get how Mandy Moore, for example, who was born in 1984, could really comment and make of styles that were popular before she was born. I mean we could all do that now looking back on it. We can say...Holy Sh*t...We used to wear that??? But to say I had Jelly shoes in every color doesnt make a whole ton of sense seeing that she was born in 1984. Does anyone else agree here?
