I dont agree with the 50's being to "fluffy" as the previos post says because according to my dad, the 50's had greasers, betties, hepcats, hotrodders, rumbles, cool jazz, and of course the birth of Rock'n Roll.

There wouldn't be many first hand accounts. No Mo Rocca, Hal Sparks, Michael Ian Black, and many others.
