Does anyone know why this show was cancelled?

I really loved this show, it was one of my favourite animated shows. Does anyone know why it was cancelled? Evidence with their reason would be appreciated, too.

I don't know if there was a specific reason for it being canceled other than they'd simply gotten all the episodes they needed.Networks are generally concerned with getting enough animated episodes for syndication, which is 52(formerly 65), and then they decide o not produce any more. Now, for the fans, that sucks because we don't get new episodes, but it's great for the networks.

As we all know, if a show was good, people will watch the hell out of the reruns. Also, you will always get the people who didn't see it the first time around, as well as the people who were either too young or not born when it was in first run episodes. So the studio can keep making money, without having to spend money on producing new shows.

Doesn't matter how good a show is or how popular, if they decide to stop production, we don't get anymore. The fact that we don't have any new shows means we'll keep watching the old ones. That's how it works.

Generally 52 shows is what you'll get, though some shows actually last longer. One show may have a 13 episode season, meaning that it will run for 4 seasons, while others will have a 26 episode season, meaning it will only run for 2 seasons.

On the other hand, financing could be a problem.Look at Wolverine and the X-Men.One of the most popular shows of the last few years.Debuted in fall 2008 and renewed for a second season in late 2008.Come March 2010, they tell us the show is canceled because they couldn't work out the financing with their partners.

Then again it could be something simple as they just don't want to make the show anymore.Take Spectacular Spider-Man.A hugely popular show, that is by all rights the best adaptation yet. With only 26 episodes(not enough for proper syndication), Sony returned the animation rights to Marvel. The creators were aiming for 65 episodes and had plans for season 3, but Marvel decided not to continue the series.

At the time it came off the air there were several shows that had a basis of Pagan beliefs and ideals that were taken off the air due to campaigns from the christian community in America, the reason being " they are ungoldy and blasphemous" which is completely riduculous.
