questionable profession says Bubbles!!

OK I know that this show isn't the best at continuity as far as the movie to the show but does anyone else find it weird that ricky and julians profession is to kill animals such as dogs and cats when they are supposed to have been friends with bubbles who LOVES cats(as it says in the series they have been friends since grade 6). Though there is a tie in from this movie and the series BECAUSE when they are released from jail in the first episode of the series it is supposed to be for what happened at the end of this movie(as they show a scene from the end of the movie).

in the movie from 99 julian and ricky killed pets that people wanted killed then in the show they are friends with bubbles who loves cats i was just saying thats strange

what are u talking about.......bubbles is not in the movie and the tv show is just the carecters from the bw and updated.

I know Bubbles isn't in the movie BUT the movie runs into the first episode of the first season also it is said in the series that bubbles has been their friend since grade 6 so even thogh he is not in the movie he was associating with ricky and julian at the time

The pilot has NOTHING to do with the series

its a pilot!

The carater bubbles came from a short they did called "the cart boy"

The scene at in the first epi of the series has nothing to do with anything. If you didnt see the pilot then that scene wouldnt make sense right?

It just showed how they might have landed in jail.

So what im trying to say is

Trailer park boys the pilot movie has no connection with the Series what so ever.

Watch season 1 episode 1 when ricky and julian get out of jail it shows a flashback of how they end up in jail it is a scene from the end of the movie

Ball182, think of this as like an alternate reality.
Bubbles doesn't exist in it and everyone is not the same as the series. Think about it, Patrick Roach's charator is Randy on the show, didn't play the same guy in the pilot. He wasn't Randy he was different. The reason why they showed a clip of it in the first season is because they needed a reason why they were in jail and that was the cheapest way, it was already filmed. It doesn't really matter why they're in jail anyways, ever season they start off in jail, why not start the first season the same way as every other one.

I know what they are doing I just wanted to point out the adnormality of the situation like i could go on and on about these situations in this show i just wanted to see if anyone else noticed this one.

"It was just a rough sketch to get the TV studios interested." Actually the makers just made it as a film festival movie. They had no plans to do anything else with these chracters, but producer Barrie Dunn thought saw this and thought it would make good television.
