Soundtrack?

I've looked for a little while now, but I can't seem to find the soundtrack tracklisting anywhere. I'm particularly interested in the opening credits song, and the song shortly after he comes to america, while he's lying in bed.. Sounds like a mexican elliot smith.

what about the song he sings in the restaurant? anyone know if it's a real song. and who it's by?

reply

The song he sings in the restaurant is a real song.

You can find it on Pink's album M!ssundaztood titled Lonely Girl.

(although, not to be rude to Pink - its still a good song, but i think John Leguizamo sings it better)

what's the name of the song that is sung during the dance scene? i haven't actually seen the movie, so i don't know her name :( sorry.

reply

If you mean the dance scene between John Leguizamo & Ana Claudia Talancon, then that song is Besame Mucho by Joselo Rangel & Laura D'ita.

Re the original post: If you meant the general soundtrack listing, then this site lists the artists involved :

Besema Mucho is sung by Consuelo. Its listed in the web site you posted with the soundtrack

reply

lol, you've got a point there, that site does list Besame Mucho as by Consuelo. I never noticed.

However, i think the version in the film may still be as listed above (it seems to depend what site you go on, for instance, if you search for it on say itunes, it's listed on the original motion picture soundtrack as Besame Mucho Artist : Joselo Rangel & Laura D'ita. This site below also has it listed as them)

True...this movie deserves a SOUNDTRACK! I can't believe there isn't one. I know its a smaller film release, but c'mon!

I love the song they sang in the final competition. I think its called Junto A Ti. The scene in the carnival with Peña's ex in the crowd.
