Forced Plot

It seems as though half the reason this nice, safe movie was made was so that Leguizamo could have an excuse to sing and dance and play guitar and speak spanish without getting too serious about the whole production. And it seems the other half was to provide exposure for 15 undiscoverd musical acts that otherwise would get none.

While it had it's cheesy moments, I suppose I've seen worse movies... *cough*ThePest*cough*!

Actually the other 15 "undiscovered" musical talents are actual muscians who are big in Latin America and Spain/south Europe.

Tell 'em Schneller. Some of them ARE proven artists in various markets, mainly Latin America.

But a little North American exposure couldn't hurt right?
