Did the blues song they played during a couple of scenes bug the hell out of anyone else?

This is the song playing when Bat and her mom fight then end up dancing around and also plays at the end when they leave the commune.

The song isn't terrible or anything. I just found it totally inappropriate for the movie. Aside from that I liked it.

been searching for the song as well. They say it is Blackest Day by Joanee Shaw Taylor but I'm not convinced that's it. If anyone out there has got the song, I would be very happy if you could write its name down on here!
